IOCL Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for IOCL:
- Trade Apprentice – AttendantOperator (Chemical Plant) Discipline – Chemical – 3 years B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry)
- Trade Apprentice (Fitter) Stream – Mechanical – Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade of minimum 2 years duration with Pass class
- Trade Apprentice (Boiler) Stream – Mechanical – 3 years B Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry)
- Technician Apprentice Stream – Chemical – 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engg./Petrochemical Engg./Chemical Technology / Refinery and Petrochemical Engg
- Technician Apprentice Stream – Mechanical – 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg
- Technician Apprentice Stream – Electrical –3 years Diploma in Electrical Engg. /Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Technician Apprentice Stream Instrumentation – 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engg/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation&Control Engg, / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering

Stipend for IOCL:

How to Submit an Application:
- For disciplines (Streams) mentioned at Post Codes 101, 102, 103, 108, 109, 110 & 111, Applicants have to register on NAPS portal https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
- For trades mentioned at Codes 104, 105, 106 & 107, candidates have to register on NATS portal / Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) i.e. https://nats.education.gov.in
- After applying against an opportunity in the respective NAPS/NATS Portal, candidates must go to the IOCL website (https://iocl.com/apprenticeships) and complete the online form. Online registration will open on 28.11.2025 at 10.00 AM and end on 18.12.2025 at 05.00 PM.
