🌟 *IFS என்றால் என்ன* 

 *Indian Forest Service (IFS)* என்பது UPSC மூலமாக தேர்வு செய்யப்படும் மத்திய அரசு சிவில் சேவைகள் ஒன்றாகும்.

இது நாடு முழுவதும் வனங்கள், விலங்கு பாதுகாப்பு, சுற்றுச்சூழல் ஆகியவற்றை பாதுகாப்பதும், நிர்வாகிப்பதும் குறிக்கோளாகக் கொண்ட ஒரு முதன்மையான  சேவை.

🎓 *IFS க்கான தகுதி படிப்புகள் (Eligibility Courses)* 

UPSC மூலம் நடத்தப்படும் Indian Forest Service (IFS) தேர்வுக்கு பங்கேற்க, கீழ்காணும் பட்டப்படிப்புகளில் ஏதேனும் ஒன்று நிர்வாக பூர்வமாக முடித்திருக்க வேண்டும்:

🔬 *B.Sc. பட்டப்படிப்புகள்* 

✅ B.Sc Forestry

✅ B.Sc Agriculture

✅ B.Sc Horticulture

✅ B.Sc Botany

✅ B.Sc Zoology

✅ B.Sc Environmental Science

✅ B.Sc Wildlife Biology

✅ B.Sc Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science

✅ B.Sc Geology

✅ B.Sc Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics

⚙️ *Engineering பட்டப்படிப்புகள் (B.E / B.Tech)* 

✅ B.E. / B.Tech Agricultural Engineering

✅ B.E. / B.Tech Environmental Engineering

✅ B.E. / B.Tech Biotechnology

✅ B.E. / B.Tech Chemical Engineering

✅ B.E. / B.Tech Civil / Mechanical / Electrical (Accepted by UPSC)

📝 Any Engineering degree is generally accepted if it's from a recognized university.

🐮 *Other Science-based Degrees* 

✅ B.V.Sc & Animal Husbandry

✅ B.F.Sc – Fisheries Science

✅ B.Tech Food Technology (accepted under science stream)

⚠️ *அனுமதிக்கப்படாத படிப்புகள்* 

❌ B.A., B.Com., BBA, BCA, BSW, B.Lit போன்ற non-science / arts / commerce படிப்புகள் மூலம் IFS தேர்வு எழுத முடியாது.

🔹 வயது வரம்பு (2025 ):

🔹 சாதாரண வகுப்பு (OC): 21–32

🔹 OBC: 21–35

🔹 SC/ST: 21–37

🛣️ *தேர்வு முறை (Selection Route)* 

1️⃣ UPSC Prelims (பொது சிவில் சேவை)

🔸 IFS & IAS ஆகிய இரண்டிற்கும் ஒரே Prelims தேர்வு.

🔸 GS Paper 1 + CSAT (Qualifying)

2️⃣ IFS Mains (முக்கிய தேர்வு)

🔬 *Science-based heavy subjects like:* 

Agriculture

Forestry

Geology

Botany

Zoology

Physics / Chemistry

📝 Optional Subjects (Any 2) + English + Essay + GK

3️⃣ Interview (Personality Test)

🌱 Environmental knowledge + Leadership + Communication

Prelims: OC: ~101, OBC: ~99

Final Rank: Depends on Science subject performance & Interview
